And what about WOSB? (Women-Owned Small Businesses)

posted March 31, 2016

This author attended ChallengeHER  today: a wonderful event on Opportunities for Women in Federal Contracting organized by WIPP (Women Impacting Public Policy), SBA (Small Business Administration)  and American Express Open.

The 5 hour event included a matchmaking session. I had previously registered for the session so I got to sit down with about 10 business representatives to find out about their opportunities for federal contracting. My focus was on understanding how Thayeroneal’s various female business owners could benefit from the resources presented.

I strongly encourage all women out there who own businesses, whether they are already Thayeroneal’s customers – or just prospective clients!:) – to stay abreast of similar events. The same session is coming up soon in New Orleans on April 25th. You might want to drive to the city, enjoy a 1 or 2 day short vacation and register for this event. Registration is free but you do need to register. Here is all the information including conference location, dates, times and program. Enjoy!
